So Here it is…..

So here it is… we promised that we would bring you an insight to some of poles most influential people.

This month we are looking at the funny, dashingly handsome and very talented Sam King.

Over the past few months Pole Emporium have had the great pleasure of working alongside him and Phoenix Dancewear in creating a comfortable, practical and stylish shorts for men.

These have been now tested, feedback given and are now in the process of being created ready to sell just in time for Miss Pole Dance UK 2016 with the gorgeous Sam being our campaign man for them.

So during a business meeting back in the summer we had a bit of a Q&A session with him to find out who he really is and what makes him tick and this is what we found out…..

So Sam, tell us how long you have been poling for and what inspired you to do so?

I’ve been poling for 6 years now and my inspiration was due to a friend at Kent Uni who was trying to encourage me to leave the Nintendo behind and get fit!

I also believe that this friend needed some moral support 😉

How has pole dancing changed your life?

After doing a sociology course at uni i wasn’t really prepared for the ‘real’ world whereas now i am worldly and have got to travel the world doing what i love.

Its also given me a body whereas before i was quite scrawny.

Its also given me a career path.

Whats next for you?

Expansion, more travelling and doing more international comps.

Whos you pole dancing crush/inspiration and why?

Would have to be Olga Trifonova and Heidi Coker, so inspirational!

My students are also my inspiration, seeing them work so hard!

Tell us something we don’t know about you and what you like to do in your spare time?

I like Hereford cows (they wear wigs)…..
